Welcome to Romona's technology website! The Romona Technology Lab and Maker Space are part of Romona's Learning Commons.

Students at Romona School use MacBook laptops and iPads in the Learning Commons. First through fourth grade students have computer class for one 30 minute period a week either before or following their library class. For some projects throughout the year Mrs. Wiechert, the Library Media Specialist and myself will co-teach the class for one hour. Kindergarten students work on integrated technology projects co-taught with myself and their classroom teacher.

Computer skills are taught through curriculum based technology projects that are related to the topics studied with their classroom teacher in science, social studies, language arts or math.
